Due to the increase in safety standards, the price of the car now starts at INR 2.94 lakh for the base variant, INR 3.5 lakh for the LXI model, and INR 3.72 lakh for the VXI variant. Previously, the starting price of Alto 800 was INR 2.67 lakh. As a result, the price of the new Alto could be INR 22,000 to INR 28,000 higher compared to before.
