In the depths of the water, the mystical axolotl waits, patient and still

Unlike other pets, axolotls can survive up to 2 weeks without food.

Their cold-blooded nature slows their metabolism, helping them endure hunger.

Juveniles need food daily, but adults can go longer between meals.

Water temperature plays a key role—cooler waters mean slower digestion.

Starving too long weakens them, causing stress and sluggish movements.

A well-fed axolotl is active, curious, and full of life.

Overfeeding is just as harmful—balance is key to their health.

If an axolotl stops eating, check water quality and temperature first!

Treat them with care, and they’ll thrive in their underwater world!
